“GREEN INTERIORS”, using Maica’s Laminate. The design has to carry out an overall “Green” concept, mainly using Maica’s laminate products of either maiLaminate or maiCompact. The winning entries will be shown during ARCHIDEX, as part of an opportunity to showcase the accreditation to architects. Winners will be awarded during the maiParty celebration in the evening. The designs must use only Maica’s laminates, and need to support a Green theme based on the GBI’s requirements for interiors.
Time period: 6 weeks for submission, announcement of winners just before ARCHIDEX with invitation for prize giving event. Submission begins from 15 April and must reach us (submit to Programme/ KBU Course Coordinator) before 30 May 2012.
Judging criteria:
1. The use of Maica’s products.
2. Green concept of the interior design
3. The overall aesthetic of the design based on colour rhetorics, students need to write a short summary on the design. The reasoning has to be as strong as the aesthetic of the design.
Prizes:
1st prize : RM500
2nd prize: RM300
3rd prize: RM200
