Here is a quick brief on what is the brown paper bag seminar is all about. In 2001, FIABCI aim is to expose undergraduates to the professional and practical experience shared by the esteemed speaker.
This time round we have Ar. Lilian Tay, she is a senior Principal at VERITAS Architects, Kuala Lumpur that leads many key projects and oversees general design direction. She is also presently Deputy President of the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM). A Council Member of the Heritage Trust of Malaysia from 2002-15, Lillian advocates the conservation of urban architectural heritage particularly in Kuala Lumpur. She is presently on the University Malaya Research Advisory Committee (UMRAC). Lillian Tay trained as an architect and civil engineer at Princeton University, USA. She worked at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates in New York prior to returning home to practice in Kuala Lumpur in 1991.
