On 29th April 2026, the Diploma in Interior Design (DID) programme at First City University College conducted its final semester assessment at FCUC Hall, where 36 students presented their culminating projects. Organised by Ar. IDr Elyn Tan, the session featured five distinguished industry professionals as guest assessors, who provided valuable real-world insights and constructive feedback.
The assessment aimed to expose students to industry expectations, enhance their presentation and communication skills, and strengthen their design proposals in preparation for professional practice. Through the session, students gained greater confidence and a deeper understanding of industry standards, as reflected in their positive feedback on the experience.
