World Interior Day has been celebrated annually around the world by Interior Designers or lovers throughout in focusing a diff thematic with purpose of celebration & awareness.
This year 2019, theme 'Designing Spaces & Changing Lives', the FCUC committee believe in designing spaces would change and impact people's life & living in many level which include in alot of dimension in functional, physical, social, cultural & etc. But one of the element in which are very important in spaces, is color.
Thus this year's World Interior Day, we had invited Dulux Paint Malaysia over to our campus to conduct workshop in relation with colors and a better understanding of it's impacts to our sense.
But first, we had Ms Siow Yin Yoong, Dean of Faculty of Design & Built Environment (FDBE) , gave an opening speech for this very event on a beautiful morning.
And we had invited our Representative/Special Guest from Dulux Malaysia, FCUC Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Mak Chai, Dean of FDBE Ms Siow Yin Yoong, Head of Interior Architecture Design Ms Chua Huwi Huwi to officiate the launching with the customized gimmick done by the FCUC Committee and members.
After the event was officiate. Student Mr Preston Tew gave an overview annual report of IAD CLUB, recalling all the funs and activities we had joined/created together in FCUC before stepping down from their roles to the next/new committee members.
Also, we had Ms Nyo Jia Lin to share with us the London-Manchester March 2019 Education Trip organized by FDBE. Her sharing consist of all participant's perspective of architecture, art & visitation of Manchester Metropolitan University.
And students also converted their experiences and senses into sketches to be displayed at the corridor of FCUC.
Then Token of Appreciation was given to our Special Guest, Dulux Malaysia. Also, in returned.
Then the workshop starts after an hour from the event launched.
With students much alert and focus on listening the impact of colors. The used and also how colors were chosen and expressed within spaces & buildings.

Then we were divided into groups of all levels.
And to create mood board with guidance from Dulux Malaysia's specialist, cut & paste from recycled magazines. To work with fun, and to mingle with senior/juniors, we learned to work better as a team and to execute the handwork better together.
After 30 minutes or so, the group leaders had to present their mood board with the specific theme they were appointed.
There were a total of 12 groups.
All leaders on stage and waiting to be judge.
