It was a fine spring season in year 2019, long could i recall and still vividly of the weather and excitement experience on the day when us, the IAD and the Foundation of Arts & Graphic Design students & lecturers, embarked our journey together from KLIA to London.
The weather was indeed lovely, yes we love the weather. it was bright but not hot, air was cold and importantly we doesn't even sweat even 10mins walk down the road.

It was quite a short few days in London, then we went to Manchester and immediately visited the John Ryland library after checking in into our hostel. it was like entering to the world of Harry Potter, having some of the movie scene came into real life and experiencing the grandeur of space, architecture and maybe perhaps a recall onto our design history. flying buttress, colored glass, detailed column and structures, the great wonder how it was massively creative back in the timeline.
Of course not to mention, we visited our partner university , the Manchester School of Art – Manchester Metropolitan University. Experiencing a one day campus life, study prepared by the friendly staff & lecturers, they even brought us visiting the studios, lecture halls and all other facilities available.

We had fun participating in the sketching exercise given.
So this is us, taking a group pic at the rooftop of the campus block with the brightest smile on us all. Thank you for reading. :)
Thank you to First City University & Faculty of Design & Built Environment for organizing this wonderful trip to London & MMU Manchester. Though how i hope that us all IAD student could participate in this journey together but blessed enough that some of us are able to have the honor and chance for this.
