Hence, the urban sketch competition that is held by IAD club allows students to explore on the culture, architectural styles and perks of Georgetown. Though it was short but through this activity we were able to recapture and observe sensitively the details and beauty of the town, architecture, culture and people.

Overall, the site visit to George Town was interesting and truly enhanced our understanding of the township culture and architecture impact. Through this event, we were quite amazed of the building details we observed through our eyes. It seems better than looking into the pictures taken or through online. The sense of touch, view and culture surround does make the place much closer to heart. I would say that this site visits did provide us a great learning experience!

After this journey ended, student’s artworks were displayed at the white canvas gallery, FCUC from 23rd March to 8th April 2022 from 9am to 5pm, to showcase to fellow students about the sketches of amazing buildings are drawn by the students and allow others to see how interesting Georgetown is.

It's definitely an amazing trip! Thanks to all who participated, we hoped you enjoyed it as much as we did! Looking forward to more learning journey with IAD FCUC!
