It was quite a sunny Tuesday morning in the first week of November 2022. We students of Diploma in Interior Design Semester 2 & 3, BA (Hons) Interior Architecture Design Year 1 students gathered and departed the campus at 9am to Niro Granite Showroom at Shah Alam.
We were greeted and welcomed warmly by the internal and marketing staff of Niro Granite upon our arrival. Without further ado, we sat in a theatre hall, and the team from Niro Granite, Orin & Petra Antiqua gave us a detailed explanation of the history, creation, and aims & objectives of the brand.
Honestly, if not because of this trip, I would never figure out the core existence and creation of the brand, a swiss invention, and quality that had expend to the worldwide market. Quite a journey and success of the record.

After the introduction of all the brands, we were brought down to the showroom and had a walk-through of the whole gallery 'to see, feel, and experience the difference between the product and quality. Started off at the Niro-Granite showroom and introduced us to the anti-slip technology and etc.
Then, Orin's sanitary ware showroom. Understanding the importance of technology and difference in design that affect hygiene and cleanliness.
Petra Antiqua is an exclusive brand with products imported from Europe. We are fascinated by the smaller details and carvings on the surface.
Then we gathered back to the main showroom for some self exploration.
Also, a memorable group photo as the closure of our field trip.
Many thanks to the Niro Granite team for the cozy hospitality throughout the whole morning. We truly enjoyed and learned a lot in this short span of visit.
