2019 International Design Awards Gold Winner: Student Category

Jiang Lai Ginger Gallery Bentong
Bentong town, a small town focuses on tourism industry that contributed to rise local living standards and economy. But, the lack of tourism attractions reduce the visiting.
By that, this project is proposed to enhance the eco tourism to sustain the local. Jiang Lai, homophonic meaning of 'future' in Chinese, transforms an old local Chinese association building to a new tourism spot proposed in Bentong Town. It is an experience and education based gallery in introducing the uniqueness of Pahang’s geographical indications agriculture product, Bentong ginger.
Hi! I am currently studying and working in Kuala Lumpur. As an interior designer, I always linking back the culture with the people. Meanwhile, I also design a space to create a new living culture.
Also, I believe that the people must be harmony in the nature. I am now focusing on the sustainable design to preserve and conserve the mother earth.
